    it is no pristine 348, but I like how they brought the double bubble back and were ahead of the 355 on side duct design.

    I've never been a fan of the 348 styling but the original is enlightening compared to the Zagato version. The Zagato looks like the way some teenager would modify a Honda to look cool. The front end looks stupid and the NACA ducts in the doors destroy the lines of the car. Some things are better left alone.

    For anyone who wants even more info there is an article from the July,'91 issue of Sports Car International in the 328/348 Brooklands Portfolio book. I always looked at this as one of those exercises in trying to change something for the sake of change. I always wonder how they were able to sell the number they did.
