What a charmed childhood you had surrounded by such fabulous machinery! We didn’t even own a car in the years between when I was 7 and 17! I used to sit at the bustop on Waterworks Road at Red Hill to watch the cars go by and when I saw a Dino one day I thought I’d died and gone to heaven! My dream car as a teenager actually was a Lotus Europa (my size!) and a friend of my boyfriend a bit later had a Mach1 Mustang which was pretty wow in those days. I had a poster of the Abarth Scorpione on my wall (freebie from one of the petrol stations as I recall).
My brother, father and I drove my mother and sister crazy with car talk! Silly signature here to annoy KIAI

So many magnificent old cars in the club in the '80's, sad everyone sold them to go O/S, that said I guess it would be hard not to when you're offered more than 2-3 times the value of your house at the time.
