Mercedes Benz S600, I prefer not having the S-Class in AMG models, I feel the hardcore AMG styling takes away from the luxuriousness. This car would be my daily

Mercedes Benz G55 AMG My winter daily/SUV
    Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport
    430 Scuderia
    Ferrari F40

and maybe a nice silver 997 Turbo coupe 6-speed to run around in, but I don't know about that one.

To be driven in: Maybach 62s and a Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III

To drive everyday my self, either an S600 or S65, I actually am with GoalSir on the luxuriousness of the simple lines on the S600.

For SUV, either the Range Rover Supercharged of the Merc G55, but only one.

For hardcore driving and the true sports car experience, the Ferrari F40.

For the best of the best and newest technology experience either the 599 or 430 Scud, but again only one.

Lastly, either a Spyker convertible, SLR Roadster or the Bugatti Grand Sport, I love them all and cannot chose!

    Regards

    Joe

612 for family occasions and keeping a low profile when necessary. The others are when it's just me and maybe a friend--
DBS for when I know it's going to rain
16M for when I don't know if it'll rain or not
LP640 Roadster for when it's probably not going to rain but might
S2000 CR, roof off for when I know it won't rain, and roof on for going places where I can't risk an exotic or supercar

And borrow my dad's Toyota Tundra for running around on the farm.

7 years later... My tastes have changed slightly.

    Current:

Ferrari 458 Spider (Red on tan)
    Lamborghini Aventador (White on black)
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S (Black on dark red)
Classic Jeep CJ-7, lifted & fully restored (Blue on tan)
Open wheel modern F1-style track car (White)

5 years later I still have #1-4, although 4 is two Tundras instead of diesel. Vintage prices seem to have left my station for awhile. Still hopes for a GTE or Maserati 3500.

I have added the yellow 1970 Boss 302. Jennie still nagging about a Ford Bronco. Love any Lamborghini and Jennie will probably replace the Abarth in couple years with Porsche.

Interesting how taste evolves including being happy with what I have and not necessarily owning five cars:

Cayenne or 911 - sporty, go-anywhere daily drivers. Keeping Cayenne as more haul/passenger space is currently needed

328GTS - sweet-spot balance of beauty, modern reliability and classic street driving experience. No longer desire a faster open-top just for the streets

910 and/or 330P3 - historic, beautiful, last prototype race cars that can have license plates

4th or 5th car? - whatever spouse wants for daily driving.

Also, there are a few cars I'd like to drive but not necessarily own: cars in my previous list, 355 Challenge, F40GT/LM, 935, 911GT1, F2002.

I responded to this thread in 2007, so perhaps an update is acceptable. Stick with realistic(-ish) cars. Veyron or Enzo would be great but if you worry about every mile or stone chip the enjoyment of such cars would be less. I would prefer usable cars that can be enjoyed without the headache.

M-B GL350 Bluetec: Wife's car. Alternative: Cayenne diesel
Porsche Cayman S: Daily Driver. Alternative: Corvette Stingray
Ferrari 430 Spyder: requisite Ferrari. Alternative: 550 Maranello
Alfa 4C: track and weekend toy. Alternative: Lotus Elise
Ford Raptor: bad weather/work vehicle. Alternative: '11 Range Rover
