I have been dreaming of spring and thinking about my favorite roads to drive/ride. What is everyone's favorite roads in the region?

One of mine is a short section of Loch Raven Dr. as it circles around the Loch Raven Resivoir in Towson, MD.

I couldn't even begin to tell you my favorites, but I can think of at least 200 miles worth that make me short of breath just thinking about em.

Come on Bob. You know you love the twisty section on RT 841 just East of the Whip. The Lone Tree. The old barn. The photo opportunities. The almost dangerous series of curves. I cant imagine that this isnt in the top three if not Numero Uno!! Jon getting ready for Spring!!

Yea, definitely in the top three, but I also can't decide among an almost unlimited amount of sections up and down the massive winding elevation changes on the Amish run. Or how about the roads running west winding up over those hilltops and then dropping down to the switchbacks through the farms on the way to the Amish run.
Or for that matter The mile or so that ran along the river winding through the rocky cliffs to the dead end when they were fixing the bridge You and Ryan in your GT3 with the battery thing.

Or for that matter maybe thousands of miles following that yellow Porsche through Centerville, or the undulations of Smith Bridge.

A snaking road through the valley near fair hill where Nick altered his RS.

    See what I mean.

No need to go slow, I can catch up even when you go fast. BTW, if any of the parts you pick up look like the ones below, please double back so I can re-re-install it :D

    Don, finally on JoeZaff's "A" List. :)

I could not agree with you more. I live 3 miles from that section of road at Loch Raven and drive out of my way to work everyday just to drive it. The section of Harford road, north of Joppa and south of Mountain road is also full of great turns, and they just repaved it.

I haven't been on that section of Harford Rd. I will have to check it out once it warms up.

I have come to the conclusion that 90% of the roads with the word "Mill" in the name, are going to be fun roads. At least that is the case around Baltimore and Howard counties.
