I remember my first PC game addiction was to Falcon 3.0. I had a ps/2 mod 55 SX -and I spent a fortune adding, if I remember correctly, a Soundblaster card to it to play that game. Since that PS/2 used a MCA (micro-channel) bus, I think the SB card was about $350 for it. Then I think I bought one of the first flight control sticks from Thrustmaster, which I think was another $100-$150 - the "joystick" connection through the SB card.
