Your Favorite Automotive Smell

I HATE the smell of burning rubber, but i like gas yum yum.

 

I was surprised no one said that. I have always loved the smell of gas. I dont know what it is, I just like it.

 

Gasoline and Italian leather in a Ferrari!

 

Nitromethane at a Top Fuel race.

The same stuff is used to power model airplane engines.

Smells like "Victory". ;^)

Some of you guy's need serious help. I have the number to a poison control center if needed. I love the smell of gasoline...ahhhhh.

 

Off topics, but how many of these won't kill you if you inhale deeply?

I'll go with new leather. Just had my 328 redone and it has transformed the car (the aroma being a big part of it).

 

exciting....the smell of a birdcage maserati as it passes you [me actually] thru 5 at monterey....kind of an exotic blend of fuel, rubber and mostly a strong smell of really hot clutch material.....

mellow...opening the rear body section of a 550 spyder that hasn't run in several months...a thin film of cold castrol r all over the engine and surroundings.

most unique to a particular car....the smell of a post race grand prix bugatti.
