I wonder if the factory ever put out a TSB on this or if it is a result of mechanics working on the car?

Isn't this something the 355 Owners should see? ;)

With the 355 experience in mind, I double checked the Testarossa. Sure enough - the same issue could be a problem.

The pressure side of the Driver Side bank is routed above the water hose. It ‘floats’ above the hose, but could conceivably make contact with the hose clamp.

Two mitigation steps will be taken:
    1) the fuel hose was wrapped in a high temp convoluted sheath
    2) the fuel hose will get a zip tie around the crankcase vent hose to ensure that it remains well above the water hose

I was unwilling to rotate the hose clamp to ensure reasonable access from above once the engine is installed.

Your fuel hose can be checked from above with your fingers - if it pokes you, you have a problem. Worth a look.

Is that a gray silicone gasket adhesive squeesed under your coolant hose?

    Good eye.

No - i used a very thin layer of aluminum based anti seize placed only on the nozzle so that the hose pushes the excess out of the joint.

I wanted to minimize future corrosion with a petroleum based product.
