Are you gonna frame it in shiny black acrylic and put it on a 3 foot high easel so you can impress the crowd at the next Sonic Drive In car show?
Congrats Bro!!! Great looking car. Can I have a commission? Or at least maybe a free sandwich next time I see you? Dave
Should we tell him about the passenger door handle? LOL I tell the Driving Dave's Dino story with slightly less frequency than AnotherDunneDeal tells the Driving Friend's McLaren F 1 story.
Very nice!!! I am going to have to find a copy somewhere... This little crappy town doesnt carry anything remotely close to that...I have to drive an hour for a Forza!!! PDG
If only he had a Ferrari, he might have made it to the cover of Cigar Aficionado Seriously, congrats!
Congrats on the cover story, just got yesterday's mail and BAM, there it was! Nice to see the photos were taken at the BMW track too! Not bad for South Carolina!
Finally received mine today. I think it is a great article for a non-Dino guy, which is the purpose of this type of rifle, of course. I don't know how this raises values, per se.... It list values at $80-170k for the spectrum of pricing. I think this might have stood true 6 months ago, maybe the time of concept, but I think we Are hard pressed to see this today. Find me a running/driving example at $80k and I will let tell you where a buyer is.
To be fair, it said "add 50% for GTS as well as select GTs", i.e., $255k. As we all know there are cars that have sold north of $300k. So, yes, the numbers are a bit low.
I just meant that it is just the kind of "mainstream" (as mainstream as collector cars are, anyway) publicity to give the Dino market another price push. Ferrari guys know the cars. I'm not so sure if other car guys have been paying attention.
