Now that I have a car (Ya, there is a God!), anyone up for a putz down to the Yosemite Valley Floor for lunch on a Saturday or Sunday the end of June? We could meet at the 120/108 Junction around 11:00AM.

    Yaaaa! The car is alive!

I'm good for a Saturday, are we collecting input or a gist of who can make it or not with this posting?

How about Saturday, June 26th? I'd be up for a Mono Lake run on Sunday. The Sonora Pass (HWY 108) is an insane FCar drive to 395!

I won't have the 360 until August 8th. Can we do something after Monterey?

Lets do both dates! How about a run to the Devils Postpile (Bodie) in August?

OT, but there are some great F drives in the wineries/hills around Paso Robles, perhaps even on the last stretches of 101 to PR.

A drive a month that is all I ask. The Devil's postpile is awesome. I hiked from Bishop to there once on the John Muir trail, epic adventure!!!!

Last weekend in June Yosemite and Mono Lake sounds great. Peter, I'm thinking of heading your way on Friday night. I would love to be at Mono Lake early on Sunday for some great shots.

I was just in Yosemite as part of an FCA drive/weekend, and it was fantastic. The awesome natural beauty of Yosemite and a bunch of Ferrari's - what a great combination. There are some fun twisty roads to/from there as well.

6/26 it is! Lets meet at the 108/120 junction at 11:00AM. All that post who are 'in' for this run, please email cell phone numbers to all that are going. If confirmed, we would not want to leave without you (when we are waiting).
There is a gas station at the junction where we can meet.

    Directions:

Take 580 east to 205 to 99 north. Go north on 99 1 mile to the 120 turnoff to Yosemite/Sonora. The 120/108 junction is 40 minutes from that point.

We can cruise to the valley floor ($10 at the gate) and have lunch at the Ahwanee Lodge. It would be cool to stop at El Cap to look at it and check out the climbers (Bring binoculars). A drive to the top of Glaicer Point would be awesome, then drive back out of the park.

I'm planning on making a weekend of it. Saturday night in Sonora, then take the other northern pass to Mono Lake and then back.

Who the hell goes on a drive and brings their car cover...worse yet, what dolt uses it??

Every passing day, I lose more respect for the FCA and the jokers behind it. Our dear friend, Gil, is of course a big exception.
