I am done with PA, 3 years in the Northeast and I am ready to head west! Looking at the Brighton area to live will be there the 26th...
Welcome. It's a beautiful place to live. Car related events can be kind of hit and miss. Everyone seems to be hiking up a mountain, kayaking down a river, or skiing on a slope. -F
Oh I am excited to get into the exotic car events, not a lot of that action in western PA... I like doing those things too!! I am very excited to be moving to Colorado!! Thanks
Thanks a bunch, cool website.. I am going to bring one Esprit with me next week and I bring out the rest of my cars in the spring after I locate a warehouse or barn to set up shop in..
Welcome! i took the route England - California to Colorado.Love it here,at here to stay! Enjoy and good look!
Thanks, I am excited to be here, we've hit the mountains every weekend since arriving, love the sunshine! Purchased a Hanger at Front Range Airport last week and am installing lifts soon to work on cars. Cant wait to bring the toys out.. Image Unavailable, Please Login
thats very cool!!! the airport is right next to my house. they have great airshows during the summer. maybe u can have your hangar on display during them? that would be cool .
You will never get bored with it..... we have not in 15 years, truly a dream realized. And once you have the cars here...... Settle back, you wont be going anywhere for quite some time!
Thank you Dave, I need to come by and meet you, have some work that needs to be done soon heard your the best! I agree the family seems very content here, hopefully we shall stay!
Front Range is East.. close to Denver International.. Rocky Mountain is a little out of my price range
I look forward to our meeting. We share many of the same tastes and interests. I too have permenent oil stains on the garage floor and am looking at buying a hanger in the future. Our move here is something not one of your family regrets. The Tundra of Minnesota was a great place... to be from. We can play and drive all year long out here in the mountains.
Jason, Great buy, the hangar that is. I am sure you will enjoy using it for cars. Do you fly by chance? I used to live pretty close to that AP now I am more central Denver. Cheers, David
Where did you live in western PA? I grew up outside of Pittsburgh. It was a good area for sprint cars and short clay ovals in those days, but I suspect that's all gone away.
David, Yes I do fly.. I dont own a plane though... But looking forward to renting one.. Are you a Pilot? .
Jason. Very nice. Yes a have a few ratings. Private fixed single engine land VFR (Mostly C-172 and 152 time) Commercial Rotor (VFR/IFR) (S-76 (UH-60A/L Blackhawk), Bell 206 B3, OH-58 A/C, and OH-58D) some other random endorsements as well. What do you fly? I had to take a mountain flying class before any of the airports would let me fly west i.e. into the mountains. It was a good ground class and about 4 hours of flying if I remember correct. I have a friend out here who is a CFII if you need an instructor or BFR. It is a blast to fly through the mountains. Especially the canyons, canyon turns, and ravine flying Cheers, David
