    First, I would like to say hi to all the members and viewers here. I'm a new member and have a few questions. How many yellow colors were offered for Ferrari cars from the beginning to the present and what is their names? also can someone please tell me the paint codes for the colors? I used google and didn't came up with anything useful.

    I ask because I want to paint my car yellow, but don't know which one I like. I think it's called "Giallo Modena"...don't know.

    Some people say that the Modena Yellow and FLY Yellow are the same color...What do you think?

    Giallo Modena (not to be confused with the new Giallo Modena Tristrato) is the proper term for the yellow that Ferrari uses to paint cars. Modena yellow and Fly yellow are just nicknames.

    So there is 2 yellows? Giallo Modena and Giallo Modena Tristrato? I thought they made more than that? What years Ferrari used Giallo Modena and the Tristrato on their cars and what the name of the cars they painted them with? So I can look at some pictures to see which one I like.

    Not sure of the years, but Giallo means yellow in Italian and Tristrato translates as layered, which is the new 3 coating metalic pearl paint.

    Sure there are more yellows.......

    The Fly Yellow is the very bright one, like this......

    The new metallic yellow has only come out with the 458.

    There are more subtle yellows thru out the vintage years, that are more gentle pastel shades......

    What is a 458? Sorry I don't know much about Ferrari's. I play the OutRun PS2 game that is all about Ferrari's.. but that was a long time ago and now I know nothing. But I really like them.

    Shouln't there be a official list of all the colors Ferrari produced so far?

    I don't know which yellow I like, but I like the greeny, less orange and mustard...the right shade of yellow.

    Maybe it's the Giallo Modena?

    Officially,as someone said, there is only the Giallo Modena, and since 2 years they introduced the Giallo Modena tristrato, that in English means Yellow Modena 3-layer!

    Thank you very,very,very much!! That's what I'm looking for.

    I don't know why Ferrari fu**ed that **** up. I mean why didn't they give the other yellows a different code and name? Ferrari sucks. lol. Just kidding.

    Now I don't know which yellow to get, and yellow is fu**in difficult color to pick. I like the yellow on the F430 though.

    What does D.S. after the paint code stands for? Metallic,pearl or what?
