You are correct. It is hard enough to converse with a passenger, let alone listen to a stereo. There is also the carbon tub to consider, my guess is a quality installation would be difficult anyway.
I know who owns that yellow Enzo with the SC plates on it from "FerrariDude"s post. And I know for a fact he's a ferrari enthusiast, also owns an Enzo, and they're both licensed in Charleston, SC, but he has another home in Los Altos, CA which would also support Carbon's information about him. He registered the F50 and Enzo to his home on Kiawah Island. His initials are G.D. I don't know if it has red seat inserts, but it's a yellow F50 and I know he has an Enzo too.
yep the swop shop car was from the uk , it was originally painted rosso barchetta and could be seen all over the uk in the late 90,s , it was commonly raced at oulton park where i saw it a few times , why they changed the paint i dont know . i think the ferrari-online.com website sold it .
The car you are eluding to is #104798, It's a Giallo Modena with all Nero interior, Owner's name is George Desko, This information is already in the public domain. Argento
OMG, that's amazing. He is actually NOT the guy i'm referring to. There are 2 different F50s on kiawah then. Wow. No this is a different guy and different F50. Your Mr. Desko has a nice collection though. But no this is a different guy.
The "Swap Shop" car is being restored (thankfully). I have personally seen the car twice in the last few months. One interesting observation is that the car is euro spec but has US amber front lights reflector lights.
It is not. I want to respect the privacy of the owner and restoration shop. It isn’t my place to divulge anything more.
They are old SC plates. I am not sure where the pics were taken. I don't know the chassis number of it but there is a yellow one in SC on PA plates that is chassis number 104798. I am wondering if they are the same car or different.
104798 was originally owned by Ralph Lauren who kept it on his ranch in Colorado. Sold 2003. Marcel Massini
