    Yet Another Speed Trap:

So I am heading north on GG bridge yesterday 0900. Two CHP officers on foot near the north side, hiding behind a column, and peeking a radar gun out at oncoming traffic. 4 marked cars past the lookout exit ready to pull over given the radio signal. Very tricky. And a waste of resources... it's kinda hard to break the speed limit in so much traffic. Well, I think some members of this forum could probably have found a way.

They do this all the time. Double fine zone on bridge. You have to keep it at 49mph till you get of the bridge and stay out of fast lane that who they want.

Very intresting, I wonder if it is legal to radar on foot and then relay to another car to ticket.

I also wonder if they calibrate their guns as is required for the case to stand up in court? ;)

    Thanks for the heads up.

    Best!
    Ben.
