Can we merge this with WILLIAM H's ecomomical car thread? I think they are very similar :):) :) :)

Although boats seem very fun, the waste is huge. I'll take a Ferrari and call it a day ;)

I'd take Octopus over any yacht ever built.

too much yacht and cannot even be tied up in the yacht marinas...usually gets put in the cargo docks. you miss out on the fun of being seen!

i personally love excellence III, parafin, and lady lola. ar, feadship and oceanco respectively.

It's hard to beat a Feadship tri-deck, like parafin, I bet you like, blue moon, iroqouis, ulysees, impromptu, and the gorgeous Rasselas !!

all I think were designed by de Voogt and build by De Vries.

perry, i am a pretty big oceanco fan also but feadship is toough to beat. kitteridge's parafin is also decorated perfectly as is herb's "old" excellence III.

Herb chambers is currently selling e3 and will replace w/ a new 250 footer! he says that he has always made money on his builds. perry, i bet you would agree that standing next to a 200 plus footer is pretty remarkable for a private yacht!!! they are actually getting too big for my liking...again, i still like e3, parafin and the lady best!

btw, iriquois belongs to john henry yes?

I just switched from a PC to an Apple, so all of my summer (aka boat) pics are on my other computers hard drive. if this tread is still alive when I transfer my music and pics, i'll post a few.
