Xia Xiao Wan....Truly Extraordinary artist!

Are there any other aficionados of his work here? Far too many times the word "genius" or sublime are thrown around and have begun to lose their intended grammatical impact. But not with this artist, who is well deserving of such accolades.

My favorite piece is the "Hommage to Da Vinci" comprised of hundreds of individual DaVinci pieces on his characteristic multi plane glass canvas. David Spriggs does vaguely similar work but for me is much too ephemeral and unrefined for the genre.

I came across Xia Xiao in HI FRUCTOSE magazine a contemporary art publication very similar to JUXTAPOSE.
