WTB:Low Mileage 1993-1995 500E/E500 Mercedes-Porsche Love Child

I have a friend who had one. One owner car since new and it was sold for just a few thousand dollars a couple of years ago. It was not a low milage car but less than average on the dial. He told me that the car is extremly expensive to maintain and parts are very expensive and can be difficult to get. Needless to say that it is sort of an icon of that era and certainly has its place as the first DD/sedan that breaches into the supercar type of speed. And it will swallow bank account like a supercar too.

I always liked the W124 chassis but in all honesty dude you'd be way better off with a modern E550 RWD than this. If you look around, you can find a '07 E550 with 60k miles on it for like in the mid 20s. 100+ more hp (387 if i remember correctly) and much more modern chassis with way more bells and whistles. The key is to get a RWD version though. A lot of them are 4matics.
