    Anyone have a spec or part number on *which* HJS core fits the factory 355 cat housing? I'd like to do the re-core myself but haven't been able to figure out which cores to buy.

    Try your luck with Fabspeed. I tried to buy their HJS cores for the Scud with little luck. They said they would sell to me, but never got back to me. I guess they weren't that interested. Fabspeed would know the exact size/product no etc for the 355 HJS cores. Personally, I don't think the 355 needs HJS cores, but that's just me. I'll take the cheapest 100 cell core just to reduce smell.

    All depends on diameter and length of the core mine are not small.
    So I just did test drive.
    No problem with smell whatsoever, I would say it smells better than before.
    Sounds much more aggressive when standing still but not too, I would say perfect for my taste.
    Whan valve is open it's pure f1 sound.
    Please notice that my Y pipe is cat less.
    I would say that gas reaction is sharper too. It should add some power btw.

    Btw Car is running now stainless steel brake lines, ds2500 pads and motul rbf 660.
    Meanwhile I purchased one inside rim sealing as one was missing and we have changed 2 aluminium inserts in the rims, someone tight bolts too much.
    In too days it will be pickup by company who will do belt service.
    Car did 700 kilometres from the last one but it was in 2016.

    I think locally I can get 100 cell cores for $250 each. So $500 + labour even another $500 can't see them being much more than that.

    What I meant was, with test pipes even if I was inside the car I would need to shower after. Lol

    I didn't mind them...but I'd prefer even a small reduction over straight out the tail.
