https://www.ekimani.com/car/post-20/ Try these headers by Brilliant Exhaust. They don’t make a muffler though. Could sound sick combined with a Capristo. Take one for the team .
Stock headers, hyper flow and cap3 with the valve opened via remote. Remember, cell phone vids suck at reproducing the sound, I'm very picky on this, and I absolutely it. This is my 4 muffler, and my last
I'm always open to trying new gear but from what I understand there's little (if anything at all) to be gained from the stock 4-1 header design? What difference do these have over Tubi's? I also don't know if they're worth it without blankets?
Only way to know is to compare a dyno graph to stock headers. Sounds good though if it’s just headers making all that noise.
Very much looking forward to hearing how your modifications work out. Please let us know what you think.
I highly doubt the rest of the exhaust is stock. You can hear the electric valve switching open/closed. Generally all of Brilliant's exhaust systems are from headers to the exhaust tips made in house. Only thing I see that may be slightly different is each exhaust length is longer than factory and possibly Tubi/Fabspeed headers as well. Whether or not that amounts to any substantial gains is up for debate...not something I'm qualified to answer on. @white out may know. The other concern is no header blankets and engine bay temps without them.
Does Tubi header-stock cats-capristo stage 1 produce any drone? I want to buy cap1 because I wish car to be quiet at idle. i have a spider. thanks
Only one way to find out. That’s why I said, “take one for the team” . I already took one for the team with Larini.
Thank you, in that case, i guess no drone even when valves are naturally open because RPM is high. When mufflers are wailing, there is no room for 'drone'. Thank you Kenney & Ken. I decided to go with TUBI - stock cats - Cap1. !
Cap 2 & 3 are more likely stocked. Probably better resale value or easier to sell. Most people cant tell the difference between them. I had a 3 and now 2 and I can’t tell the difference.
I took one for the 550/575 team when I installed the full Fi@mmenghi exhaust on my Maranello. Now there's like 20 guys on that subforum that have it haha
Stock muffler is pretty darn good!!!!! Maybe to quiet for you noisemakers but works well for street cars keeping the power streetable I have a strait piped lightened flywheel 355 and NOTHING below 5k rpms. Drives like a 2 stroke dirt bike powerband
Do you have cat deletes with the stock muffler? I'd love to hear that. Haven't been able to find good clips on youtube because nobody apparently deletes cats and keeps the stock muffler. My hunch is that this could create the perfect exhaust note (for me at least) -- a little louder than stock but not too loud and retaining the character of the stock note, which I love.
Probably most of you wouldn't even noticed but for me gas flow without resistance is very important... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yeah. How long ago were these Tubi headers made? I have pics of the first generation Tubi 355 headers and the shields look different .
