Looks a bit like an Elise minus a few scoops.

    I wouldn't buy a hybrid - I think it's transitional technology.

That's sad - I'm glad I be dead before every one is driving a poor excuse for a sports car. Too bad it's coming to that. And it will come to that.

HELL NO! Hybrids and Sportcars/Supercar or anything highperformance does not belong together. I hope im dead before this hybrid wave moves in.

If it's fast, easy to maintain, cheap, i'd buy one. Why the hell not? Why are you guys so resistant to new technology? Of course it's not going to be as fast as sports cars of today but its relatively new technology. It just needs more time to be developed.

It isn't that bad looking, I would have to have a Ferrari soundtrack in the cd as I was driving though ;-)

I think it is just an electric car, it is not a hybrid. Also it will be built by Lotus and is largely based on the Elise.

Granted it will be quiet while driving but how many of you will still be put off by new technology when you're being lapped or when you're watching the tail lights disappear around the next corner?

No way. You could wind a giant rubber band around an axle and have it propel you to a super quick 0-60 time but that isnt the point is it...

It says $0.01 per mile to drive. I don't buy that. I bet it's not even close. Wonder how many kWh it takes to charge the battery.

I think the site said that they were selling it for 120k as well. With a top speed of 135mph, it's really not a very fast car.

I wonder if it has a reserve power switch for when you run out of juice?

I would bring the power adapter with me so I could plug it in wherever so you're not stranded.

Or maybe you could bring a small 5hp generator to charge it?
