So, my first post in several years, let's see how things go.

Let's say one had a source of income that generated a consistent 10 Million a month but they have never own a Ferrari. Would they be able to be considered for the hypercar based on income alone, or would a relationship with the dealer be an important aspect?

Income doesn’t matter. Your buying history does.

Would the same apply to the Puro?

In guessing that with those resources, one could build a pretty compelling buying history pretty quickly?

(Just curious. I wish I had this problem!)

I'm thinking the same way in all honesty. In theory, you'd be able to buy at least one model of each and even perhaps do the custom atelier speccing to get bumped up the list...

And make your dealer happy by snapping up some nice pre-owned cars. And you can buy some classics and older hypercars on the open market.

But I don't know if time is an important variable or if it's mainly dollars spent and quality of your collection.

I believe there are other variables that help too, like participation in events and racing/track activities. I know Ferrari (rightly) wants its most special cars going to good ambassadors, which requires more than a healthy income.

I think it wildly depends on where you live.

    In the US, probably not.

If you were that rich here in Brazil and put in a request with our local importer, I am sure you would be heavily considered. Ferrari would want the car to be shipped to Brazil as it is important for there to be this kind of representation in emerging markets. Perhaps you'd be asked to buy another car or two, but again, with that sort of income, I am sure that wouldn't be a problem.

Your income is irrelevant to ordering a new limited edition Ferrari. But $10M a month is a LOT of money to buy whatever you want on the secondary market.

No but it will get you there quickly.

    1. Buy/order 1 of each current model. If possible with a ****load of Atelier and Taylor Made $$$.
    2. Buy a 296 Challenge and participate in the Challenge series
    3. Buy through your dealer an FXXK and participate in the XX program
    4. Buy through your dealer an Enzo or F50
    5. Participate in the Calvacade and Mille Miglia events

Im guessing you would be on the list for the next hypercar rather quickly.

    .
While that is a LOT of money by most any standard .......
I'm guessing that some of the 2,781 BILLIONAIRES in the world wanting a 1 of 499(?) Ferrari hypercar would have a snicker and say ..... "Hold my champagne." ;) :D

At 10M a month it would take a little over 8 years to join the club and become nr 2782 :)
