    I used to think Ford GT (althought not GT 40" anymore) was too low compared to a Modena. but now I've realized the Saleen S7 being even lower
    you guys have data to find out waht is the world's most "down to earth car?

    Sorry..that's not what I meant
    I refer to total height...as everybody knows the GT40 was named after it's height of only 40 inches...(I used to think it was hte lowest of all) but then came the unthinkable: Saleen S7 is even lower than a Ford GT.

    Zach, just wondering what is the 328's? :)

    As for this thread, look at the classics, they are much lower then modern cars. The 360 *towers* over a 308 or 328. The TR is MUCH lower then the 550/575 series.

    If you have seen the movie "A Clockwork Orange", remember the car that Alex and his droogies were using to play "Hogs of the Road"? That was the Probe 16, which was only 34 inches tall!

    Oh, oops, I can't read. Well, there are the stats anyway.

    Omar, I never found the 328 ground clearance.. Go get a ruler and tell us! Oh, but, with regard to this thread: its height is 44.1 inches :)

    Are we talking stock cars or modified cars?

    My honda wagon has 1.5 inches of ground clearance (lowered 9.5 inches from stock)

    My lexus coupe has 2.5 inches of ground clearance.

    I remember reading that the undercarriage of the clk GTR creates sparks even on flat surfaces....that one must be RIGHT there...
