you still here?
Wolfie hasn't been around a lot lately....stranger still, he did not respond to a PM I sent a few weeks ago, do you have his contact info at his "shop"? "wolfgang............come back, wolfgang!" *as seen in the classic western "Shane"*
Hello Schnelles Fräulein, Sasha & Howdy Bubba, Alan thanks a lot I`m still here and around sometimes but also lots on the road doing some business - can`t live without music. Sasha, I`m just back from working for a band/guitar player from your neighboorhood/state NJ - Richi Sambora of Bon Jovi. They played a couple of open air gigs in Stuttgart and Munich. Bubba, I have been also on the road with some real good Texan. Jan Gerfast (www.jangerfast.com) a dear friend of mine and guitar slinger from Sweden was on german tour with the famous old drummer "Uncle" John Turner (www.unclejohnturner.com ) from Austin/TX. "Uncle" John played in 1969 at WOODSTOCK together with Johnny Winter, yeah he is a living legend!!! On Bass was the lovely & cute Erin Jaimes ( www.erinjaimes.com ) also from Austin/TX. They are right now back in Austin - check them out every Tuesday @ FRIENDS 6th street. And last but not least I also have had the honor and pleasure to help/support Matthias Jabs from the SCORPIONS. Can you imagine that once and back in the early ´80th BON JOVI played the opener/support act during the Scorpions world tour? Yeah........25 years ago. Best Wolfgang pic 1 together with Jan Gerfast, "Uncle" John Turner, Erin Jaimes and the band backstage in Frankfurt. pic 2 me & Matthias Jabs in our house discussing guitars & more pic 3 Klaus Meine & Matthias Jabs, backstage relaxing at the "Kicker" Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
wow! Johnny Winter, Sambora and Matthias Jabs - these cool bastards recorded some of the best guitar tracks ever.

Howdy Dave, thanks I`m fine. Hope you, yours and the whole DFW gang is also doing well BTW, I`ll stay again in the same hotel: Wyndham http://www.texasguitarshows.com/Arlington06X.htm Do you remeber the bar ? Very good! I will see you in Austin then! I was worried when you did not write back about Jimmie Vaughan. He was sounding GREAT with Lou Ann Barton.....only in the next week do we hear of the loss of Clifford Antone...... Anyway....carry on, guitar slingers.... I will check to find some "good things" in Austin that week.
Sorry Bubba-Buddy not to write back. I have been on the road and your mail went thru fchat mail server (just found it 2 days ago). Please use my priv. mail which I check every day: [email protected] Hope you & Valeria are doing well and you have had a wonderful birthday celebration. Yeah, the "Antones" time is gone since Clifford "passed". All the cool places went down - even Joes Generic Bar after he got shot down & killed in his backyard. Anyway new place to go is "Friends" 6th. Looking forward to meet you & Valeria. Wolfgang "May the tone be with you"
All is good here my friend.....tropical breezes blow thru the trees, fire pit glowing....just watching the world go by now! Maybe I'll do something important next week...LOL! Lot's of Europe Festivals now, for sure...we'll wait and get ready for July 4, 2006! Love to all..... Al and Val No, man it's the Broken' Spoke, on South Lamar, for REAL Chicken Fried Steak and music...or maybe Stubblefield's BBQ Stand...there was this old guy named Threadgill, onetime.........see ya soon!!!
I'm thinking Jesse Dayton should add to his show "Gimme Back My Wig" by Hound Dog Taylor, in memory of Clifford for the live show... I have heard him play it..... Stay well! Bring your lovely wife to the Texas Hill Country!
