Well, my track plans keep changing. Turns out my 911 is not available this weekend as there has been some difficulty fitting the roll cage. Car is still in the shop. That leaves me with either the 968, or more likely the Ferrari for this weekend.

I have not tracked the Ferrari yet so neither day is ideal. Saturday is going to be packed with some very fast drivers and I'd rather not have to keep looking in my rear view mirror as I feel the car out for the first time. Maybe I'll take a chance on the weather and join everyone Sunday. Of course learning the car on a wet track wasn't what I had planned. Now I am thinking 968 again ....

Last issue I can think of is the brakes. I have no idea how much pad I have on the 355 since I haven't pull off the wheels in the year I have owned it. With stock fluid and rotors a thin pad won't last. Besides the dealer, anyone know where to pick some 355 pads locally?

URGENT MESSAGE TO WHOEVER IS COLLECTING WOLFGANG @ THE AIRPORT!

    Good Morning All,

At 09h25 GMT I received a call from Wolfgang who was at Frankfurt Airport in Germany. He asked me to pass on the news that his flight to the US had been delayed by 45 minutes.

I guess this is due to restricted airspace over Italy for the Pope's funeral and the belt of atrocious weather that has hit some parts of the region.

Wolfgang asked me to apologise for the delay and (always the gentleman) to pass on his very best wishes to all in Texas!

Greetings from a snowy & cold London :(

    MARK

I am and thanks for the info. Gentlemen & Ladies, depending on time we may need to compress or shorten the schedule since we need to give them time for R&R once they land.

If you have questions you can call me on my cell 817 703-4242.

I probably won't make it to Unique, but I will try to make it to LoD. Have to do real work today. :) I'll be at Pappasitos for sure.

I'm planning on being at LoD around 5:00, then will go to Pappasitos. Do we really think we can kill 2 hours at LoD?

I think LoD closes at 6:00. So one hour should be good. I am planning on being at LoD at 5:00.

Latest flight info. Wolffy wont get in till 2:12, assuming imigration and customs and then bags, may not get out of there till 3. Drive shower, R& R for them may not make it to Unique, but we will see.

It may be that we just meet at LoD, everyone.

I'm honoring the presence of Wolfgang with my German car! Do you think he sees many of those? :)

Is everyone still trying to meet at Unique? Since Wolfgang's plane is coming in a bit later & going though the mess at DFW with HOMELAND SECURITY, getting him to his hotel in Dallas traffic, etc.. I wasn't sure about the current plans.

I don't think many were able to make Unique anyway because of the early time, so if Wolfgang is late getting in, then there might not be anyone up there.

I'm planning on LoD depending on work right now.

I think I will just head to LoD as well. I have some errands to run near downtown pretty soon, and no telling what traffic will be like.

The wife is driving out German car, should I drive British or Detroit Iron?

Both are cool! However, especially if Wolf misses unique, maybe the Detriot iron!

When in Rome, do as the Romans do. When in Texas, do as the Mexicans do… Margaritas and Tequila shots! :D

Take a look at my profile.... It would go pretty well at Unique Performance, though maybe a little out of place at LoD.

NOTHING is out of place at LoD. Last time I was there they had a very nice F350 Quad Cab pickup in the back showroom. :)
