    I'm an NJ guy but the family has a place down in Pompano Beach. We're down quite a bit but never quite know where we can best watch the Winterfest Boat Parade in December. We have several small children and a senior citizen in tow, so paying for the Grandstand seating / taking a shuttle, is too much of a hassle. Any suggestions on a place we can watch the boat parade? Appreciate the guidance!

    Will also be at the Toys for Tots Rally during the mid point "pit stop" as we are each year, simply as a spectator given we'll have a rental car....sigh....

    It might be out of the question $-wise, but check with the Benihana restaurant and Blue Moon restaurant, which are each on opposite sides of Commercial Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale, right on the intracoastal waterway - "front-row seating". Both have dinner specials on the water with reserved viewing tables for the duration of the parade. Blue Moon would be my choice, but I'm not sure of price or availability at this point. I just got an email from Benihana that they have tables available for $125 per person.

    Like I said, not economical, but prime viewing and a meal to go along with it aren't a bad deal.

    Thanks RoadRacer, appreciate the guidance. With a 3 year old and 18 month old, it's tough to bring them to Blue Moon or even Benihana. Depends upon their "mood". Was at Blue Moon a few years back, was a great time. Appreciate the advice!
