Caught in wet snow around Castle Rock, CO once. Ferrari Club event in Denver in Feb a long time ago. Not slippery, and it melted when it hit the ground. With the car so low, it didn't feel too bad. Good tires, good weight distribution, steady throttle. Snow depth would be a problem and road rocks/salt/sand. I see a lot of Porsches year round in Anchorage.
So, I couldn't really count on an F355 or 360 as a true daily driver? I live in the Springs. I've been leaning towards a 911, but I really crave a Ferrari. I suppose a spare Jeep or something might need to be its buddy! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
I have an Audi Coupe with a Turbo 20v as a winter companion. Something really cool about driving something derived from rally competition in the winter time.
I drove my car more than my truck in the Springs Oct-March, because it was too hot in the summer (black car, black interior), and the snow was infrequent. That was 10 years ago during the big droughts. Cold, dry winters, but great driving conditions.
