I saw these had been marked down to $479 for the pair (normally $665), shipping included, so I took the plunge despite not needing radiators. The rads on my car are original and I'm sure will need to be done at some point relatively soon, so why not. They arrived a couple days ago and look really nice. I can't testify to fitment because I haven't put them in yet, but so far, what's not to love?

Nice, but could be nicer if they came black.

But if they were black people would think you're a dummy loser running stock crappy radiators!

This is why they are cheap.

You are going to have a hell of a time trying to mount those radiators WITHOUT the ability to capture a backing nut on the backside of that ear. The stock radiators have a slot for the nut to fit into. You will find a way.

Is there room there to hold a nut in place with a strong telescoping magnet while you get the bolt started? Or is there no room to get a wrench in there to hold the nut while the bolt is tightened

Nope. It has to be counter-held with this non-OEM setup. The factory one has slots, the flats of the hex nut fit tight and hold while you are wrenching from the other side. There is barely room for your fingers let alone wrenches.

Same thing with Superformance aluminium rads, i had no problems with holding the nut, yes it was tight but it's doable.

Ahhh I recognize that workmanship and style
Actually a very nice lady owns that company in China that makes them. She does most the brands that sell here in the US under various names. I have no issue with them at all.
Just give them a good pressure check before installing.
I was at that factory before covid. need to get back there love that place

    Deleted the brand name pics
