My windows wont work when the top is in the down position. Work fine when the top is up. Is there a position detector switch for the down position somewhere. I had the top worked on a few months back. Is there something they forgot to reconnect?

Yes, the switch is at the bottom of the main left hand hydraulic ram (track)

Check to see if the plug is still on the microswitch or that the arm isn't bent.

If you want to check it with an ohmmeter, the switch should open when it is pushed.

I just realised that if the plug had fallen off, the windows should work.

    Any luck?

That is to say, if you remove the microswitch plug with the top unlatched, your window function should be restored. Removed plug = open circuit.

    So my suggestion didn't work?

You may need a small flat screwdriver to unclip the plug on the microswitch.

I finally got around to fixing this. Switch is working but the little roller arm was bent back so the top mechanism wasn't pushing it. All fixed and working good for now
