Tint is good on my daily driver (Range Rover) Tinted my Boxer 33 years ago and never took it off. I put Black TDF wheels on my F12 and felt I need to lightly tint the windows to hide the contrasting tan interior. I'm happy with it. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Varies by state. I think most allow it, but most forbid very dark/limo tint except for medical/business reasons. https://drivinglaws.aaa.com/tag/glass-window-tinting/ T
My understanding is window tint on side windows hides the intentions of the driver to a police officer. That is why it is illegal in some states.
I suspect that is you're just passing through, not likely an issue. If you're there for an extended period of time, and/or get pulled over for something else like speeding, it could be an issue. T
It is Ilegal to install tint on front window and front side windows in Denmark. The climate doesn’t introduce the need for it either....unfortunately. Some does it anyway, but it’s considered a bit gangster style...
thank you peter for this info from denmark and I thaught all over europe it is the same so happy euro-union
Found some pictures of a Rosso Corsa with tint. One thing to keep in mind is that I believe the two rear side windows are not glass. I think there are some low-adhesive options that might be able to go on underneath the actual tint. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
They make 90% tint at least with Crystalline 3M, it's basically clear film but has a TOTAL SOLAR ENERGY REJECTION % of 34%, Infrared rejection of 90%, UV rejection of 99%, and Glare reduction of 3% because it's basically clear. I got all these numbers from the 3M site so take it for what its worth. 90% would look like you have no tint but still gain the benefits of tint regarding interior temps and UV damaging light protection.
