    I know it was promised; I read the CEO's statement that there will always be an Aston Martin with a manual, but where is it? Is there a delivery date on manual Vantages, or was that statement just chin music?

    Yes, sometime in 2019. Because not formally announced yet, its probably not 1Q. The 4.0-liter AMG engine doesn't come with a manual anywhere else. AML has to integrate a manual has its challenges. Software doesn't exist so they need to create your own software. Believedriveline system doesn't exist so you have to create your own.

    That said, the marketplace for a manual is estimated to be less than 5%.

    would be nice if Mercedes then reverse-engineered that driveline back into the AMG GT cars. but they won't because of the sales numbers.
