I asked Michael for the best 928 he knew of and he put me in touch with the guy that bought it after you. I owned it for a few years until my friend asked if I’d sell it to him. He will likely never sell it. The car is beyond perfect.
For clarification purposes: Willhoit Auto Restoration in Long Beach Ca is not the subject of the legal discussion and previously posted links I have no affiliation with any discussed businesses
Glad it found a good home. If you can believe it, I bought it from a NJ dealer called “Fuzzy Dice Motors” sight unseen !! That was literally a roll of the dice.
Shame to hear about the potential indictment. Sounds like he had a house of cards there in the end. I bought an 87 930 from Willhoit in 2000, I found that he played hardball but was ultimately fair. There was quite a cluster of high-end dealers there in Springfield at the time -- TEAM, April Miller, Premier, Willhoit -- so always a plentiful selection of low-mileage Porsches, Ferraris, NSX, to be had. https://www.news-leader.com/story/news/local/ozarks/2018/12/14/fbi-grand-jury-probe-mansion-african-queen-michael-willhoit/2294011002/

I had contact with him a few years ago regarding a Porsche 928. We discussed the car, he seemed very knowledgeable about 928's Sad. .
Vehicle floor plans appear to be the death knell of many in this business. I have a client who runs a very profitable, multiple location used car business and he said that getting rid of the banks was the best thing they ever did.
couldn't agree more. But, my guess is, the banks are the ones who now wish they'd never gotten involved with this particular gentleman.
