I got to sit in one of these a few times, and I absolutely fell in love with them. They are currently negotiating with BMW for their engine. Prices start at a little over 100k € The last picture should give you an idea of how small the car really is. The rims on the car in the last picture are 20", but strangely enough, they fit this small car perfectly! edit: that's not me in the picture. Looks like a more aggressive, Morgan Coupe. Not that that is a good or a bad thing...just an observation.
Dave, Have you seen the Weismann test video from Top Gear? If not, here it is: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7243450867989414744&q=wiesmann
Morgan mated with a Panoz Esperante. I hope that dude is like 6'6" and not 5'10" - otherwise it looks like that thing is a midget car. That reminds me of Robert_C's epic struggle to free himself from a Lotus Elise!
Those wheels are perfect for the car. It looks really aggressive! I saw it on Top Gear and I couldn't believe how well the wheels fit. I wish they sold these here!
I took a pic of the Top Gear review. Clarkson's a HUGE guy and he fits pretty well. hehe, he looks kinda like Schumi Image Unavailable, Please Login
Top Gear tested the Roadster, and while it looks similar to the GT, the Gt's a completely new car. It's got different suspension, a new engine, a longer wheelbase, etc. btw, you can order any bodycolour you can imagine, and over 400 colours of leather.
EVO did a little a test of one of these a few months back. I really like. Dont know much about the company though. Only heard of it recently.
I like it. I wish they didn't have the after thought looking fender flares, but, other than that, vey nice.
Very Jaguary, I see C type in the nose & some XK120 in the rear Do they make a roadster ? That would rock
Yes they do! (it uses the M3 straight 6 engine instead of the V8) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The roadster's been in existance for almost 13 years (evolving a little bit on the way). The V8 didn't fit, so they had to develop a ompletely new car, instead of just putting a roof on the roadster and calling it "GT". Edit: the straight six still has 330 bhp or something like that.
I will drive the coupe and the roadster on saturday Can't wait to see the car and hear the engine... Anyone here who have drive it? Some comments about it?
