Why the 250 GTO?

I still can't believe I missed seeing this car in person by a few months. I went to the Simeone Museum in Oct 2016 hoping to see it and found out it was around Nashville. After I got back into Birmingham not longer after, I found out the car was on a pallet at Jackson Hartsfield on its away across the Atlantic. It's a beautiful color. I hope the new owner puts it on display at some point.
