    I agree with the "several bikes" line of thought. I have an old Triumph Tiger for one hour spins through the country, and I wear on open faced helmet with aviator goggles, a waxed cotton jacket and jeans, I also have a newer Triumph sport touring bike with a 1000cc engine for longer tours with friends. Longer saddle time and higher speeds encourage me to wear a full face helmet, adequate leathers and protection and the like. I think there is enjoyment to be had from all types of riding.
