Looking at various dealer's web sites, it seems there are quite a number of used F12's looking for new homes. Many have very few miles. They all seem pretty reasonably priced. I am wondering why, considering the relatively short time frame they have been available and did a search here using the thread title above. No previous threads about this or major problems that might cause it came back, so I look forward to reading your opinions about this.

Perhaps many others are like me.

They like to have the newest and coolest car, drive them for a little bit and sell while the value is still great so there's no huge loss.

Typical V12 depreciation curve. I am preparing to pay through the nose for a TM F12 on order. Fortunately, I plan to keep it for life, so depreciation will not affect me 😊

People keep these cars for about one to two years as they are not limited editions or collector items. They tend to drive them but be careful not to put too many miles on them.

This car came out in 2013 and they are now coming available as used.

It might be this simple. The other Ferrari's do the same thing, the FFs, the 458s.

"Quite a number" could be slightly subjective...

Maybe the lucky ones who got TdF allocation are now selling their Berlinettas.

"Quite a number" is relative....go look at 911 Turbo S's and you will think F12s are an endangered species.

Why do people sell low mileage cars? Pick an answer - boredom;"need the $"; hate it, love it, or whatever.

I once owned a car for 15 years, and another for only 15 days. Different strokes for different folks.

Buy what you like, drive it, track it, enjoy it, keep it forever or hate it and get rid of it.

It's a disease, just don't try to justify it!

In my opinion most of the F12 owners aren't going to drive their cars during winter time. Instead of letting them sit in the garage, why not put them up for sale?

Yes, a couple more times out this year and then carefully put away till spring.

Because I love that car and can't wait to get right back into it in a warm day, be with friends who do the same and marvel at the beauty and power that is a PF-designed Ferrari-engined F12. The car is simply worth the trade for the cash.

indeed a winter hibernation is in order and i've got mine tucked away until '16, however a 40-50km run once during both Jan and Feb never hurts on a cold but sunny winter's day - the thought of selling her has never crossed my mind once
