I know that nick offers a 90k belt setup for his engines but that requires all new drive cogs. Is there a manufacturer of a better belt? Less than 100 bucks for belts. I would pay 500 for ones that could last 50k with hill tensioners. Most other cars such as BMW will run their belts 50k or more. What do you say?

I agree with you Fred. Just went to Nick's site. The light weight adjustable timing belt assembly is about $1,200. He indicates that you should refresh in 60K miles or nine years, although the belts are good for 90K. They indicate that the lower drive bearing could fail before 90K.

I'm seriously thinking of going that way. Cuts your majors in half at a minimum. Just my humble opinion!
