This is sorta like saying the shoes I bought 10 years ago are still in perfect condition but I've only worn them 3 times
I mean u put 650 miles a year! Pretty normal u dont have issues and if/when u do its not going to be the same price as ur lexus. A fair comparison would be to drive both the same way and amount of miles Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not really. A Lexus is made for daily driving. It is meant to be driven 20k miles per year. A 7 year old ES with 60K miles should NOT have a blown engine due to malfunctioning instruments. Not to mention the O2 sensor was twice the price than the O2 sensor for my 355.
Not to mention that one can argue that you usually have more problems with any vehicle that is not driven on a regular basis.
I really dont think most people can expect ANY ferrari to perform as reliable compared to a camry. Those two cars are solar systems apart from one another. Like comparing a McDonald's big mac to a tender filet prepared by a master chef.
In all honesty, my '85 308 has been extremely reliable over the 12 years that I have owned it. I have driven it (about 1000 miles a year on average) and have maintained it meticulously and it's been a great car!!
If it was a GTS, he'd get bids closer to the $65-70K range. But there are so many 355 Spyders for sale (search google, search ebay) that it's beyond a buyer's market; $82K for this one is wishful thinking.
