    I would rather have the 996 turbo and change then an F430 anyday.

    I have never liked the sound of a Porsche no matter what exhaust was slapped on it. It is not a nice sound to me at all. Just the design of the engine.

    That said..they are really wonderful cars to drive..those new 996 Turbo's are really somthing else!

    Yeah, I wish someone could make an exhaust with the stock pitch, but a bit louder for one. There is a guy here in town though that has a CGT with the AWE straight pipes, and it does sound amazing in person..

    I agree - I own that car (996TT) and that exhaust would drive me nuts. Loud doesn't equate to good.

    I can't even see how people can argue a Pcar sound over a Ferrari - even a 328 with a Tubi sounds glorious...

    The car is going into clubracing...so sounding beautiful isnt really in its forte...but its got something that most cars dont come close to...its got a full body...


    That being said, in reality, no car sounds as good as a 'rarri...

    Carrera GT sounds closest to a formula 1 car than anything else.

    A GT3 sounds very nice with some aftermarket exhaust, gives it a distinctive high pitched whine when high up in the revvs. But that turbo didn't sound all that fantastic ... :(
