First, the two examples given are apples and oranges when considering the amount of heat given off e.g. an enormous amount for the 3.4

However, when comparing both 3.2s, the vent area is about the same. Notice on the coupe that the area is wider overall. The Cab needs the space (wells) for the top stowage.

Thanks folks, makes sense. Cleaning them can be a real pain, so just thought coupe owners might have it easier. But maybe not from the explanations - coupe owners just have more width..... and I'll be careful how I put that to the wife.

The biggest difference seems to be rear interior, where the cab is slimmer to accommodate the hood frame being lowered next to the seats. Also noticed coupe's have the fuel filler cap in the rear buttress rather than rear quarter-panel too.

Since we are comparing coupes to Cabs, the coupes rear seat side windows are fixed and the front door windows are bigger as there are no A frames built into the door like with the cabs. And last thing, rear seats do not fold down and there are no engine access panels in coupes like the cabs have.

    Cheers

Just one minor exception to that, Mike. The t coupes DO have foldable rear seats. (The headrests I believe are fixed, though).

You don't need as many louvers on the coupe'.
