Why all these red paint under the black paint?

Umm on the body.. isn't that your cars paintwork? It is a red car right? Ferrari puts the black coating on as a protective measure. Where it scrapes off, that's the paintwork on the body of the car. When they spray them, the entire body is sprayed the cars color. Black is applied later. Control arm, not sure.. might be done at the same time.

 

Mine is the same...All this time I was thinking I car was a repainted. But if you look further in especially the interior, I highly doubt that its repaint. Something from the factory that they did...as long as it was not some "mickey mouse" job, then its all good. I urge you not to pull your hair out on that... Normal.

 

Common problem. I see red paint beneath black in the door jams.

 

The red color makes the car go faster. That's why the car is so fast.

 

I have this on my Scud also and my 348. So it seems like they have been doing it for years this way.

Yep, it happens everytime you drive your car. Completely normal.

 

Last FOG group drive I hit bottom twice on one spot in the road....happens when teying to keep up with 458's! Guy behind me said sparks blew out the back of my car..nothing damaged i could see but still need to get in on my lift for a look.
