I go up rte 44 to rte 7 less than 45 min for me . I think unless you catch rte 44 in hartford it would not work . I assume you take the mass pike most of the way but thanks

I went today . I was forced to park in general parking no show area . BORING bunch of old car running around the track Just my opinion .I like newer cars I am however returning tommorow with my son . I hope it's better . I will not be driving my Ferrari though no point in that since I get to park with the honda's .

 

Does anyone know the agenda or schedule of what events are when? I am thinking of going on Saturday. Many thanks.

Isn't the whole point to go and see the "historic" race cars? First of all, why would you go to the "shell historic challenge" to see "new" cars. And, second of all, was parking your car in the corral the extent of your entertainment in the past? Why bother????? Go to Miller Motorcars if you want to see the new machinery. Your son will have a better time.

 

Went for my first time yesterday.Took my 308 and was the only ferrari in the bottom lot.Got a lot of info.(new owner)enjoyed talking with other owners. One thing i didn't see was a ferrari club of america info booth.I'm going today but not taking my 308.

 

I don't know what happened to you guys, but I just told them I was going to the pits and I was waved right in both days. But I didn't go for that, I went to see the old cars to see where our modern ones have come from and to see and get inspiration to build a 355 challenge car, maybe! As I was leaving yesterday the guy with fxx was having the car started and warmed to check the oil. If you missed that car, what an amazing sight and sound. Then let's check out the 5 GTO's that were there. If you had anything to ***** about at Lime Rock, you really missed the point of the show.

 

I had a much better time on saturday . I still did not drive the Ferrari back but my son enjoyed it very much and to see an ENZO on the track was just great .

 

The Enzo went on the track?! I was in NYC for the Bullrun and got back to Limerock asap but it started pouring rain. I knew about the FXX on the track though.

 

Red FXX on the track around 12:30 and saw it spin on the downhill NO DAMAGE .I am wrong I guess it was an FXX .

 

The Enzo did not make it onto the track. The FXX did spin at the exit of the downhill, managed to stay on the track, and came to a stop, facing the entrance to the pits . . . right on the line. I was the fourth car in line behind it. Most of us managed to make it to the right of the FXX to avoid it. One unlucky guy took an agricultural excursion to the left to avoid it. Nobody hit it, luckily, though the thought did run through my mind - "hey, I coulda been the first guy to center punch an FXX!"

Ok since I messed up can anyone tell me the difference between the enzo and the fxx SORRY IF THIS IS A STUPID ?

 

FXX is the racing version of the Enzo. I guess its just like comparing a 360 Modena to a 360 Challenge car.

 

Ok so it was an honest mistake . I feel better .

 

It's that MOUTH, David! See what I mean, fellas? The guy is a menace! <grin>
