I am wonder what dealership has the best SALES reputation in SOCAL.
Not interested in service, but, the best overall sales department and customer appreciation.
Who sells closest to sticker and has the best relationships with buyers.

    Dealers only, no brokers.

    thanks,

    d

I know a LOT of people who aren't thrilled with A-Gallery.....

I've bought from Ferrari of Orange County and have found all their salesman to be very reasonable and straight-forward, they'll even take cars on consigment instead of low-balling sellers 20+% below market and giving you stories......only heard good things about them as well.

Ferrari of Orange County (now in NPB as well), or Ferrari Beverly Hills, either one you can't go wrong.

For service, I'd recommend the AutoGallery. Gary Kawakami, the service manager is a stand up guy who does his best for the customer.

He has some good mechanics, including Steve, his main man.

They did all the service on my F355 during the years I had it.

On the other hand, I have known two people who were taken for a $$$ ride by the service at FOC.

I have bought all my cars from Auto Gallery and I have nothing but great things to say about that dealership. I find the staff very friendly and invitng to all people, not just the one's going in to buy a car. Obi and Tony have put together a dealership that when you buy the car you become one of their family members. I do not enjoy working very much with FOC. I did not find their staff to be very helpful or welcoming. I cant say anything about FBH since I haven't been there. As far as service goes Auto Gallery is hands down the best mechanics in the west. Gary, Eric and the rest of the boys are great.

I was wondering - and have been for a while - is there anyone in CA who has paid sticker for their 430 without any kind of restriction of their ownership?

It seems that the markup keeps going up from the 355 to the 360 and now the 430. By the time we get the next car we should be at a $175K markup if we follow the trend.

    Yeah....after bribing them with $120k? ;)

Seriously, I met someone who said he was paying sticker and EVERYBODY told me that just couldn't be true: NOBODY IS BUYING 430's at sticker...

It doesn't make sense....if a 430 spider could be had at sticker, then why are '01 360 spiders still selling for $160k?

My head hurts, thanks a lot Steve!!!

I know of a few problems dealing for new cars at AG. Not a lot of trust there and seems a little short of believability. I like BH much better and the sales staff are great.

I 've had good service from Auto Gallery. Gary the service manager is a good guy and Eric is a meticulous knowledgeable mechanic.

I have also wondered about the 360 prices. Dealers are trying to sell 04 and 05 360 spiders for over 200k. Whats up with that ? I drove around LA this weekend and must have seen 8 new F430's. I know the market is not flooded with F430's yet, but it seems odd that the market price of the 360's hasn't adjusted. What do you think?

    regards

    Stew

Since joining this board I've kept an eye on dealer reps. and of all of them I'd have to say without a doubt BH's has the best reputation and least amount of bad PR.(I've never dealt with them myself) FoOC sales people have tudes but service is outstanding. AG is known for "Hollywood" pricing and sales people are customer oriented.

As far as 430's at sticker, NO ONE gets one without some story behind it.

I am new here but was seacrhing for info about Auto Gallery. I placed a deposit with them almost 4 yrs ago for a 360 Spyder at MSRP. At the time they verbally said it would be a new model by the time my car got here. Last summer they just returned my deposit and said the 360 Spyder is no longer produced and they could not deliver me a car. When I told them they said I would just get the newer model they said the contract was for a 360 and sorry, they do not make the car anymore.
Has anyone else had this problem or know of someone who had their deposit returned?
    Thank You,
    Sam
