I mainly shoot portraits outdoors and I am looking to upgrade my d50. I am chatting with 2 gentlemen about bodies they are looking to sell, one is a Fuji s5 Pro with 11k actuations (2 batteries, all accessories) and the other is a d200 with 5400 actuations (also a grip, one battery, all accessories). the Fuji is $600 and the Nikon is $700. They are both in excellent condition.

I read excellent reviews about skin tones with the fuji , and we all know the d200 is an excellent camera too..
Anyone want to chime in with any opinions ??

    thanks

You will probably be better off with the S5 pro since it does have better skin tones, and you mostly photograph people. The D200 however is half as used, and has the grip.
I would go for the D200, but that's because I don't photograph people much.

I would get the D200. You can always go back and use LR on the RAW images to correct any skin tone issues, as I presume you already do post-processing work.

Good choice, the D200 is a great camera. Shoot in RAW and you'll be as happy as a clam. I shoot a lot of portraits with my D200 and it works perfectly.
