Does anybody know who makes the best wheel bearing grease?

I want to repack the hub bearings of my 430 Challenge. OEM grease is black. I searched and it seems Mobile 1 and Redline Racing synthetic wheel bearing grease are both red. Not too sure which brand has the best load capacity and high temperature resistance for racing use. Came upon the name NEO Sythetics which is supposedly used in top level racing. Very expensive. Is it any good?

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

I've used both Redline and Neo products and have been very happy with their performance.
To my knowledge the Neo is primarily used in professional racing and will stand up very well under the conditions your car will be running at.

The best brearing grease available is one that contains
Molybdenum Disulphide....also know as 'Moly' and that
    has a ZERO Drop point.

The best one on the market is made my a company called
'MR. MOLY' that is also know as 'Molyslip' in England and Europe.

The quality of the Moly is very important, with Mr. Moly it is refined
down to 1/2 a microm which is a very costly process but provides
the very best moly product available.

I think the importer is in Rochester NY but has a number of dealers
    arround the country.

Googly MR. MOLY on the internet to get a number or website.

I would say to use a grease with a viscosity of "#2."
You'll need a high heat grease as heat is transferred from the brake rotor to the spindle to the bearings.

I would say to use *Shell Darina EP as it's a good bearing grease.
I looked at the aircraft greases but this one is more readily available.

    * 500F+ melting point.

    Interesting stuff! :):)

I just use Castrol high temp wheel bearing grease.:eek:

Not too sure how well it holds up in racing cars though. :D:D

'ZERO Drop Point' is the key word, as the bearing heats up the grease will
NOT run away from the hot surface as most greases do.

Grease without a drop point rating, as the bearing heats up the grease gets
thinner (more liquid) and runs away from the hot sureface (bearing).

Do a test:- put a little grease on the end of a screwdriver and put a flame to it,
all greases will start to burn. Grease without a Zero Drop Point will start to drip
from the heat of the flame, grease with a Zero Drop Point will just burn but
    not drip.
