Which Sanden Compressor? 507 or 508?

    .. is used to convert off the old York? I have the bracket, just want to make sure I'm getting the right comp.

    I am going with the SD7H15 series with part # 4652. This is a 7 piston vs. the 5 piston units and has less drag on startup and running. It is the 7 pistion newer version of the 507. It has the same physical size. If you want you could use the 507. Also the bracket that I am using is this one from ebay YORK TO SANDEN ADJUSTABLE CONVERSION PLATE Item number: 180217925436 . With this bracket you do not need the idler pulley.

    sorry to hijack but where did you get the finish panel above your exhausts on your car?

    It came on the car but as I looks at other 308's they all seemed a little different. Considering it had the Ansa sport system put on I believe someone must have fab'ed it from a piece of stainless.

    OK Thanks - I'll check out that compressor. I already have the other plate, the flat one w/the ears on it - I like the design of this one quite a bit, but I already shelled out the dough for the other, so I'll just go w/that. No biggie.
