Which is faster around the Nürburgring, S2000 or NSX type S?

    A Honda S2000, that reaches a top speed of about 230kph {from a clip I have.}

    Or

    An NSX type S?

    I watched a clip of a Honda S2000 take a lap {no timing of course} and the driver is saying that it is better than an NSX and a tough match against an NSX type S.
    It sounds fishy, even if his car is a "prototype".

    I will not bite on this one. That track is very fast and while I could see the s2k hanging with the NSX at the streets of willow, I doubt it would even be close on a more open track. I have driven the s2k and it slow straightline compared to the NSX especially at speeds above 70 mph and I don' t think the NSX is giving up anything in the turns.

    Concur. The S2000's only real advantage is its lightweight, and that is less of an issue on a faster, more open track.
