Which Flamethrower coil for Pertronix 9MR-183?

    Hello,

    I have a -79 308 US version which has had the Pertronix 9MR-183 module installed in one of the distributors.
    I still have the two original Magneti Marelli coils installed and want to change to the Flamethrowers. The question is which Flamethrowers should I go for?

    I’ve been searching the archives and I find conflicting statement whether is should go for the 3 ohm version or the one with lower ohm.

    Anyone that can tell me which one to go for?

    I contacted Pertronix and they say the 0.6 ohm version PN 45011 is the one to go for when using the 9MR-183.

    just in case someone in the future is searching for this thread.
