Looks like Celeste to me, very light blue.

The Mexico Frua prototype I found in Spain which won best of show at the 100th Anniversary of Maserati in Turin 2014 does have a very light, watery green shade, will post a photo a little later.

Its chassis number #969. It was re-painted to this color, "Aqua-Verde" in 1997. Here is a photo of the car I took in that year with Maria Teresa de Filippis on the co-driver`s seat.
The color is a more green-ish blue but an original -and very rare!- Maserati tone.

To me the one I posted looks more like turquise. Any idea how to get the mix code? I have a Maserati project in the soon future, and I want this exact color. At least turquise metallic. !! But if this is a Maserati color, I would be happy to use this one. I find it «just perfect» for my liking...... :)

    Thanks for sharing!

Might have faded. Or it can be a new brighter version of it...

I have seen some new Mini cabriolets around in a color quite like it. But they seem to be more pearlecent, and as far as I know that is an effect that came later? I remember in the early 90-ies, pearl or «Mica» in Italian was very popular... What is really the difference between a metallic paint and a pearlecent one? Differen size of the metallic flakes?

BTW whereas a metallic paint job adds powdered metal to its mixture, a pearlescent paint job swaps this for ceramic crystals (also known as mica). What's appealing about pearlescent finishes is that the crystal details in the paint not only reflect light more than solid paint, but it also refracts the light too.

Not sure about "Aqua Verde" But there is a Verde Acqua,
available for Ghibli, Mexiko. Max Meyer AR 16 220. 2 Quattroporte 107 were painted in this colour.

When undertaking the bare metal respray of my Rame metallic Bora I looked at several current reformulations of 106 R 49 before making a decision.

Looking at photographs, will NOT get you there!

Try different 106 G 21 cross-references as I suggested above to make up your mind;)

No, it will remain black, but the Biturbo Spyder i should be a bit more striking and I have never had a green car before. I am considdering painting it in a bright green, and then an original color would be good to use even if it was not availible on the Biturbos. I am looking to make the car a bit unique.

thanks alot. This looks like something for sure! I live by the Mediterranean sea, and the green/turquize color where it is shallow, is just the PERFECT green!! My friend had a Verde Opale met. Ghibli II, but that is a bit too mint green, even if it is a great shade of green. I want something a bit more classy and timeless.
