Good thread revival. My top choices still have not change - 910 and P3/4, though I'd go for a 911R as well.

Wonderful burble, still have my brother's 81 tucked in the garage beside the S4 and Hawthorn. The TR8 was completely underrated, qc improved immeasurably over the years, steering is quick and the ride is excellent, brakes are marginal without an upgrade. And whoa, is it thirsty.

That's way too easy for me: my old 365GTC speciale that I acquired from Luigi Chinetti Sr. in 1978 and enjoyed for almost thirty years. She was built on special order of the Commendatore for his friend Leopoldo Pirelli, CEO of his patronymic Company, a 330GTC with original factory-installed typ245 4.4 liter engine, ID plate in engine bay identifying it as the first 365GTC. Delivered argento/black, metal-up respray in special rosso bordeaux/beige. Last photo was taken at the Petersen Museum in 1997 at the opening reception for its Ferrari at 50 exhibition at which the 550 Maranello was introduced to North America. Next to last photo is sadness, taken just before Intercity loaded the car on its way to David Gooding's Pebble Auction in 2009. Last photo is Piero, the GTC and me during the reception.

It's ok, you get a mulligan when it's a hot car, a hot babe, or better yet, a hot babe in a hot car. That's a great Ferrari...30 years! You must have a zillion stories!

Agree. The 330 GTC and 365 GTC cars have a wonderful classic look to their design.

There is a dark red one in our region that is stunning, IMHO.
