Without wanting to disrupt the OP's thread, that's a great idea....but why stop at just toolkits.
The whole spectrum of vintage(classic)Ferrari parts could be included.
There has been some similar horsetrading in the 365/400 thread for a while now.

Surely the obvious place for this is in the Ferrari adds.com Classifieds........Have a subsection for tools / parts wanted or for sale....... In my opinion the chat forums are definitely not for this purpose.......

However Collectibles doeesn't immediately make me think of books, tools, parts etc.........although I appreciate they are....... Is it possible to add a section with for sale and wanted subsections for tools parts etc ?

I wouldn't be too worried about a tool exchange thread in vintage, but anyone commercial wouldn't be able to post items for sale or trade. The new classifieds might work well for a tool exchange thread and everyone could post & see, even commercial.

Met a German seller of books and manuals in the pavilion at PB last year. Have misplaced his contact info. Anyone know who he is and how to contact him?

Having just bought my first Ferrari and Joining Ferrari Chat, I have come upon this Thread. As my 1992 348 TS is missing a couple of tools, where would I find repo replacements. Thanks, David

For many of us repro is all that available. I think it's sad how many of these kits have been separated from the cars they bellong with.
I purchased my 330 without tools Some wrong en had sold the car and kept the tool roll to sell separately. So am forced to buy repro. I've been able to get some original pieces but most ends up bring repro. Over time with new manufacturing techniques and China repro will be almost undectable from original.

Dont give up on finding original bags and tools....they are still out there if you know what your looking for.......None of the early...up till mid 1970's kits and tools had any Ferrari identification. I still come across items in car boot sales and autojumbles where the vendor has no idea what they have for sale....... Good luck

I'm looking for for some Beta No 55 wrenches for my dad for father's day. I took a look at his roll and he has only has the 18/19 and 20/22 wrenches. He's also missing the screwdrivers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
