OK, so I will now feel like a dummy in front of, potentially, the entire world ... but I can't find the engine ground strap on my Mondial 3.2. I can't understand this, for on this same car I have changed all the fuel injection components, the AC compressor, the exhaust system, front end parts, the fuel pump, the starter, accessory belts, etc. I've taken the engine out of my Europa at least 5 times (and it ran when I was finished), changed shocks in every car I've owned and changed the starter in an E Type!
Why I can't find a metallic strap an inch or so wide amazes me. I fact, I feel like I did when I was 19 years old and ... well, that's a story for another forum.
Go ahead and laugh, but some assistance would be most appreciated.
    Thanks: David

I am assuming you already know there is a similar strap from the battery switch to the frame. All of the associated connectors should be removed, cleaned, steel wooled and reinstalled.

Sorry, but is there a stud on the frame where the strap fastens?
    Thanks much

Jeff - it bolts to the subframe with an M8 bolt - look below where the hard brake line is on the passenger rear on the frame tube that runs from driver to passenger side:

    Joe,
    Thanks much brother.
Another silly question, can the front trunk liner be installed as one piece instead of the two pieces separately? I would like to rivet them together and install as one piece.
    Thanks
    Jeff
